FAQ
Every skin type, concern and goal is different. This page provides guidance but does not replace consultation and individual professional assessment.
Consultation and choosing treatment
What treatments does Eden Laser Clinic offer?
Eden Laser Clinic offers aesthetic and laser treatments for the face, skin, hair and body. Services include laser hair removal, treatments for acne, scars, pigmentation, visible blood vessels, texture and skin renewal, and injectable procedures such as fillers, Skin Booster and Rejuran, as well as body contouring and cellulite treatments.
Do I need to know which treatment I need beforehand?
No. You can book a consultation even if you are unsure. We assess your main concern, the skin or area you want treated, health history and a realistic target outcome.
How is the right treatment chosen for me?
We consider your concern, skin type and condition, treatment area, previous treatments and goals. Similar concerns may require different procedures or protocols. Sometimes postponement or another option is recommended.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. You can book a free consultation to discuss your needs and suitable options, with no obligation to undergo a procedure.
What should I disclose during the consultation?
Disclose health conditions, allergies, medicines and supplements, pregnancy or breastfeeding, active infections, herpes episodes, previous surgery and any aesthetic treatment in the same area. This information supports safe treatment selection.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no session number suitable for everyone. It depends on treatment, concern, area, individual response and goals. The plan is explained after assessment and may be revised as treatment progresses.
Can treatments be combined?
Yes, some procedures can be combined or staged when appropriate. Combining is not automatically better; a professional must set treatment intervals to avoid irritation or overtreating the same area.
Are results guaranteed?
No. Results depend on anatomy, skin, the concern, individual response, aftercare and other factors. Consultation explains realistic expectations without promising the same outcome for everyone.
Laser hair removal
How does laser hair removal work?
Hair pigment absorbs laser energy, which targets the follicle during active growth. As hairs are at different stages, several sessions at suitable intervals are needed.
What technology is used for laser hair removal?
Eden Laser Clinic uses Soprano Ice Titanium and Alexandrite Candela. The platform and settings depend on skin phototype, hair characteristics, area and sun exposure. Learn more on our page about laser hair removal in Tirana.
How should I prepare for a session?
Avoid waxing, plucking or epilators for the period specified before treatment. Shave as instructed and arrive with clean skin, without deodorant, cream, oil or self-tanner on the area. Tell the team about medicines and recent sun exposure.
Can I have laser hair removal in summer?
Season is not the only factor. Tanning, sun exposure, the treatment area and suitable technology matter. Before every session, disclose recent exposure and follow sun-protection instructions.
Is laser hair removal painful?
Sensation varies with the area, hair thickness and individual sensitivity. You may feel warmth or a brief sting. Cooling systems and adjusted settings help make the procedure more comfortable.
Does laser remove hair permanently?
Laser hair removal targets long-term reduction, without guaranteeing every hair disappears forever. Hormones, age and other factors can affect regrowth, so maintenance sessions may be needed.
Laser skin treatments
Which treatment is recommended for acne and acne scars?
Active acne and acne scars do not necessarily require the same procedure. Depending on the condition, options include ClearSkin, Dermapen 4, chemical peels, Pixel radiofrequency, Erbium laser or fractional CO2 laser. First, we distinguish whether the main issue is active inflammation, pigmentation or texture change.
Which treatments are used for pigmentation and melasma?
The choice depends on pigmentation type and cause, phototype, sun exposure and previous treatment. Melasma requires careful assessment and management, as heat and UV can cause recurrence or worsening. Daily sun protection is an important part of the plan.
Can redness, capillaries and spider veins be treated with laser?
Yes, selected visible blood vessels may be assessed for Dye-VL or Nd, depending on type, depth, diameter and area. Suitability for aesthetic laser treatment must be confirmed before the procedure.
How do ClearLift, Erbium and CO2 laser differ?
These technologies differ in depth, intensity and recovery time. ClearLift is used for selected goals with a gentler approach, while Erbium and CO2 may be used for controlled resurfacing and texture concerns. The choice depends on your skin, goals and available recovery time.
How long is recovery after laser treatment?
Recovery varies considerably. Some procedures cause temporary redness; more intensive treatments such as fractional CO2 laser may require several days or longer of special care. We explain the expected response and what to avoid beforehand.
Why is sunscreen important?
Many treatments temporarily increase UV sensitivity. Sun protection helps reduce irritation and unwanted pigment changes. Use the product and application method recommended for your skin and procedure.
Fillers and regenerative injectable treatments
How do fillers, Skin Booster and Rejuran differ?
Hyaluronic acid filler is mainly used for volume, support and contouring of selected areas. Skin Booster targets hydration and skin quality, while Rejuran is a polynucleotide treatment considered for regeneration and gradual improvements in skin quality. Treatment choice follows the concern you want to address, rather than just the product name.
When are filler results visible?
Volume change may be visible immediately, but swelling and bruising can temporarily affect appearance. Results are assessed once the tissues settle, according to the area and professional guidance.
How long does filler last?
Duration depends on product, area, amount, tissue movement and metabolism. Hyaluronic acid fillers are temporary, but no single timeframe applies to every product and patient.
Can fillers be dissolved?
Some hyaluronic acid fillers can be treated with hyaluronidase when appropriate. Not all injectables dissolve this way, and the procedure has its own risks. A decision requires professional assessment.
Are swelling and bruising normal after injections?
Swelling, tenderness, redness and bruising may occur, with severity and duration varying by area, product and person. For increasing pain, concerning skin colour changes, visual symptoms or a severe reaction, contact the clinic immediately and seek urgent assessment.
What is Skin Booster?
Skin Booster uses microinjections to improve hydration, elasticity and overall skin appearance, rather than primarily changing contours. The product, areas and plan are chosen after consultation.
Is treatment available for hair loss and thinning?
Yes. Hair mesotherapy may be considered in selected cases, but hair loss has different causes. Your history must be assessed first and, where needed, causes requiring diagnosis or another treatment excluded.
Body contouring and cellulite
What is Accent Prime?
Accent Prime is a non-invasive platform using radiofrequency and ultrasound for selected body-contouring, cellulite-appearance and skin-tone goals. The applicator and protocol depend on the area and individual assessment.
Are body-contouring treatments weight-loss methods?
No. Aesthetic contouring does not replace weight loss, physical activity or medical obesity treatment. It targets specific areas and concerns in selected people with realistic expectations.
Can cellulite be eliminated permanently?
Treatments do not guarantee permanent cellulite removal. They may help improve the appearance of cellulite and skin texture, but results vary and can be affected by anatomy, hormones, weight, lifestyle and the natural ageing process.
What is injection lipolysis?
Injection lipolysis uses injections to reduce localised fat in suitable areas. The indication, product and area must be confirmed during consultation. It is not a weight-loss treatment or suitable for every body area or patient.
Is there recovery time after body treatments?
It depends on the procedure. Non-invasive treatment may cause temporary redness, warmth or tenderness; injections may cause swelling, bruising or local discomfort. Follow your treatment-specific instructions.
Safety and aftercare
Can I have treatment while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Always tell the clinic before booking or treatment. Many elective aesthetic procedures are postponed during pregnancy, and some are not recommended while breastfeeding. The decision depends on procedure, product and professional assessment.
Should I stop medicines before treatment?
Do not stop prescribed medicines without consulting your prescribing doctor. Tell the clinic about all medicines and supplements, as some affect light sensitivity, bruising, healing or procedure suitability.
Can I exercise, use a sauna or wear makeup after treatment?
This depends on the procedure. Some treatments require temporarily avoiding strenuous exercise, heat, sauna, swimming pools, alcohol or makeup. Follow your individual instructions and do not use irritating products without approval.
When should I contact the clinic after a procedure?
Contact us if a reaction is stronger than explained, worsens, lasts longer than expected or concerns you. After injections, severe or increasing pain, unusual skin colour, blisters, breathing difficulty or visual symptoms need urgent assessment.
