What is the difference between microneedling and Dermapen?
Microneedling is the procedure; Dermapen is a brand of devices used to perform it. Eden Laser Clinic uses Dermapen 4 with settings selected for the skin.
Is treatment painful?
Topical anaesthetic applied 20–30 minutes beforehand may reduce sensation to vibration or light scratching. Most patients find it tolerable, although sensitivity varies.
When are the first results visible?
Appearance is assessed after healing. Collagen-related changes develop gradually over weeks and months; timing and improvement vary.
What is recovery like?
Redness, sensitivity, dryness or light peeling may last several days or longer according to intensity. Follow advice on sun, makeup, heat and products; return to activity is individual.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Combinations are discussed individually. Appropriate product use, risks and intervals must be clear; not every cosmetic serum is suitable for microneedling-created channels.
